Wythe Raceway 8-2-2008

What a night! It rained some during the day but eventually cleared. Justin was excited to get back to the dirt along with 27 other Pro-Late Model drivers. Practice was divided into three groups. Justin dialed his car in and qualified 17th. Justin had a great race going until he tangled with another car! Don't you just hate when that happens? Fortunately, he was able to rally back and finished 21st. This was the first race of the night. Mother Nature quickly stepped in with a torrential down pour, ending the other racing events. Luckily, H.E.A.T. had just gotten the cars loaded, but the pits were super muddy.  They were able to get out and made it home at 4:30 am.

Each of the three race team members certainly caught a few winks in the truck. But you know they wouldn't trade it for anything---what an adventure! The racers are getting ready for Langley this week and you can bet when they roll into town, they’ll bring H.E.A.T. right along for the ride!
